Sonia Macak is a Czech born fine art photographer based in Victoria Soldiers Hill. Her work is shaped by light, memory, and the quiet passage of time. Working with traditional analogue as well as alternative processes, she creates images that feel both intimate and timeless, holding onto a sense of stillness that lingers beyond the moment.From her studio and darkroom, Sonia approaches photography as a slow and thoughtful craft. Her work often reflects themes of childhood, connection, and place, capturing what is often felt but not easily seen. Each photograph carries a gentle depth, where atmosphere and emotion unfold softly, like a story told in light.For almost two decades, Sonia has worked across Ballarat, Geelong, and Melbourne, as well as with international clients in the Czech Republic, Singapore, and Malaysia.In the past Sonia exhibited across the globe including Australia, China & USA.And got published internationally including National Geographic, Silvershotz, Beta development and Australian Photography magazines,
